AA Approved: Polka dots on Polka dots

 When i saw this picture of Beyonce, i instantly loved this outfit. Maybe because it has vintage influence (if it's not real vintage) written all over it. The two colors mixing together bring a little fun to this classic fitting dress although i would have loved to see more spring like colors. Let's look a little closer.  

 What makes this vintage looking? check the longer sleeves and tighter collar. very reminiscent of the 60s garments on Jackie O.. I love how she modernized the look with the black peep toes and the modern shaped bag. So how easy is it to create this look on a budget? Pretty easy.here's some tips:

• find a trendy polka dot pencil skirt at stores like Forever 21 or H&M.
• Look for a shirt with the same pattern as your skirt but a different color
• try to keep the same fabric throughout the outfit so it will seem like a dress
• If you thrift for polka dots, try getting a skirt and dress to place the skirt over the dress.
• change the whole silhouette to a loose tank shirt
• try a flowing polka dot skirt if it's best for your body type
• keep the accessories neutral
