DIY Dilemma: My Bangles don't fit (part 2)
This is not a problem for all ladies but I've ran into quite a few ladies that have this problem.
"My bangles don't fit"
Bangles can be absolutely adorable when stacked up one arm but they can also be a nightmare to put on if you have "chunky" hands like me.
Monday I tackled this DIY Dilemma while guest posting on Required 2 be Inspired, keeping the bangles as no-stress arm candy.
Today I am turning the non-fitting bangles into 2 other accessories for those who don't even want to fool with small bangles.
Big Bold Earrings
and
an even bolder Necklace
both are on the Easy Level
Tutorial #1- Bangle earrings
materials:
four bangles
two fishhook earring findings
2 large jump rings
jewelry pliers
step 1: combine two bangles with the jump ring (tighten with pliers)
step 2: attach the fishhook finding to the top hoop
step 3: complete your other earring the same way and wear them.
Tutorial #2- Bangle necklace
materials:
7 bangles
(i used different textures and colors but you can use the same for a clean look)
gold wire
gold chain
necklace finding
jewelry pliers
step 1: cut a 2 inch strip of gold wire
step 2: wrap the gold wire to attach two bangles
(wrap it loose to so the bangles will move)
step 3: attach other bangles the same way in a V shape
Step 4: attach the bottom bangle last (i have no reason why i did this)
Step 5: cut three chain pieces the same length and attach them to the top bangles
Step 6: attach the necklace finding to one chain and the other chain ends to that one chain
