DIY Dilemma: My Clothes just don't FIT right

We all have this problem. I usually just blame it on the dryer and it's hateful shrinking abilities.

but blaming a much needed machine doesn't change the fact that my clothes aren't fitting right.
but what will.....DIY of course!!!
(You know that's how i solve fashion emergencies around here)

If you are heads over heels in love with some of your ill fitting clothes try these simple cuts to make them work a little better for you.

If the elastic waist looses it's shape,

before the cut

just cut right over it and make a cute crop top.

after the cut: this shirt was inspired by Tyesha's lace crop top

and don't throw the scraps away, make a cute circle scarf.

easiest double DIY Ever!

If the long sleeves aren't quite long enough or are too tight.....

these sleeves were too tight and too short....not good :-(

just remove them and keep stepping.

After the Cut

Easter Sunday Outift: dress, bag, belt: thrifted/// jacket: Target///Shoes: Burlington for $7 (woot woot)

Lastly, If you thrift the Ugliest, most Horrific, Studded jean dress

cut off the top and make a cute skirt!

shirt, belt, skirt: thrifted//// shoes: Bakers/// necklace: gifted

Then reuse the studs to spice up a shirt

What are you waiting for????
Go grab some scissors, start DIYing and please please ladies.....
quit blaming the dryer for those ill-fitting clothes :-)
