Get 2 Know- A2Style

Hey Divas! I know I don't usually post on a Tuesday so today is a little special.I just popped in to give an update on some things happening around Avid Accents. To start, I hope you have heard that I am revamping Avid Accents Vintage. Giving it a whole new look, site and image. Everyone that has followed this blog from the beginning knows my dream of owning a boutique. Once I found out how powerful the Internet is and the endless opportunities out here, i tried online selling. It is a perfect fit for me as a single mother with a full time job and various volunteer positions around the community. As a believer of the quote "you have try something to succeed", I've tried several online boutique models, some that worked and some that didn't quite work. oh but that didn't stop me and never will. I think after testing the water several times, i have figured out the best online boutique model to fit my goal and dream.  I am excited to announce A2Style Resale Boutique will have it's official Grand opening July 4, 2011. This online boutique is for classy, sophisticated lovers of fashion looking for pieces that garner attention. A2Style will sell a mix of vintage, pre-loved and new pieces at a price range of $15-$75. And get this....Shipping is free for all orders shipped within the United States (don't worry international shipping is super low as well).  I have shopped and shopped for pieces that i think represent the image of this store. Some items had me losing my breath, some items had me mad i couldn't fit them and all the items i instantly fell in love with. I can guarantee, there's not one item i would not wear in this boutique. Well, let me not ramble too much about A2Style, you will hear a little more about it later. I would like to thank everyone for their support of the blog and i even have an exclusive preview party for all my readers. Yep a preview to an online store....it's going to be sooooo Fabulous! I'm over here getting giddy just thinking about it. Now for the not so good news. Because my focus is solely on executing the opening of A2Style, i have to end Challenge Your Style. I really haven't had time to market the challenge like it should be marketed and the participation has been low. Thank you those that participated and wanted to participate. This is definitely something i want to bring back to my blog but i think the timing was wrong with challenges like Bloggers Do It Better going on.  Even though Challenge Your Style has a totally different goal than BDIB, i think she marketed that challenge and have readers focused a little more than i can at the moment. So if you are interested in Challenging Your Style, i suggest trying the weekly challenges at BDIB, it has a huge community support. Thank you to everyone that supports this blog and i hope you plan to carry that continued support to A2Style. As for AA Style Guide, it's going to get bigger and better. You may have noticed the Features tab which highlights the posts you can get on any Monday, Wednesday or Friday. I have so many creative posts coming and hopefully they will inspire you in your fashion life.
