So you've completed your DIY, rocked it and added your new unique creation to your wardrobe. What's next?Saving the scraps of course.... and creating more accessories. I can never have enough. This week i am going through scraps from some of my recent DIYs and creating stylish accessories. First up. The rest of those bangles that didn't fit.
I've already made several accessories from the bangles that didn't fit but if you've ever bought bangles, you know they come in bundles. So I'm finally finishing up the last of my bangle pile with these two accessories:
A very easy technique that gives the illusion of unique wire jewelry. Step 1you can only do this with the flexible thin bangles usually found in discount stores. Pinch the middle of each bangle creating a number 8 shape.
Step 2wrap gold wire around the middle to keep i secure.
Once you've done this the rest is just creativity. Take the pieces wherever your mind takes you. I made a pendant necklace by attaching each link to some gold chain. Then i made some earrings by talking two links, twisting them a bit, then wiring the middle intersection.
And of course i rocked them.
