A2Style is an online resale boutique featuring unique fashion for the chic, sophisticated divas on a budget. The boutique will sell one of a kind pieces that are:
Vintage= 20 years or older with classic never-ending style
Pre Loved= once owned by another diva but styled for today's fashion scene
ReNewed= a classic pre-owned piece with an added custom touch
"Affordable Fashion meets Sustainable Style"
A new line of Eco-Chic handmade accessories will also debut at A2Style called FABStamp.
Made from recycled fabric and materials FABStamp is a collection of colorful accessories that create an instant Fab Stamp of Approval.
A modern clean design with various stamps of edgy, glam, boho and classic.

Decisions Decisions.
You would think the process of opening an online store would be simple. Just choose your shopping cart host, upload your products and sell, right? umm yeah not that simple. You must take into account how everything will look once you present it to the customer. Since you are selling products customers cannot touch, try on, examine thoroughly, you have to present a detailed yet clean layout that makes the customer comfortable with buying. The current decisions looming over my head is whether to use a background color on my images or keep it simple with white. While browsing a couple of consignment sites and major retailers i noticed they keep the background one consistent color leaving all the focus on the product. ummm now do i want to follow this philosophy or try something different?
Guess you'll have to wait and see on July 4th :-)

Change is good right?
On this very page a few weeks ago i announced i was opening A2Style. I also presented a poll to you to get your vote on one of three banners. Thank you to all who voted but i had to do a little change. Before you throw your shoe at the computer screen hear my reasoning...okay? I kept some elements of the banner chosen but had to do a little tweaking. Why? The shop banner is one of the website elements that stays on every page no matter where you navigate. It is the symbol of the shop, the thing most people will remember. I have to make sure A2Style's banner was a great symbol for the shop. It had to be sleek, classy, clean with a dab of edge. and it had to offer some reference to sustainable clothing because that's what i aim to show. These styles are classic and eternal, therefore you should add them to your closet.
Hopefully the style i chose reflects all of this.

"Control your Creativity"
If you peek around this blog, you'll realize I have a wild imagination and the ability to create fashion accesories from many sources. whether it's working with zippers, buttons or dollar store finds, i get a thrill from creating things out of what others consider trash or having one function. This is a blessing as long as it is controlled. In the boutique I am also featuring my first handmade accessories line called FABStamp and the process of controlling the designs has been a struggle. I've chose to use only recycled fabric because i believe in sustainability. The problem is I want to make the designs unique, different and eye catching while keeping them functional, durable and something i myself would wear. So far I've created many design ideas, it should be interesting seeing the final products I'll provide on July 4th :-)
